The New Earswick All Blacks are excited to announce that former Super League and NRL player Brett Delaney Has joined the club in a Director of Rugby role.

We are lucky to welcome Brett to the club and he is someone who had a fantastic playing career at the top end of the game winning every trophy the British game has to offer, 8 trophies in total over a 9 year Super League career and made over 300 first team appearances.

Brett will be covering a few roles as Director of Rugby League and will include helping out all age group coaches – overseeing and helping our commercial team and most importantly bringing his leadership skills to bring together both our local community and the club.

NEAB Chairman Jack Stearman said of the appointment “It is amazing to have someone of Brett’s stature wanting to come to the club to help us improve and grow. We are in the process of putting together new ideas and strategies and Brett will add a whole wealth of experience to help develop these ideas and take NEAB forward. We are really excited that Brett is working with us and looking forward to what the future holds.”

Brett Delaney said “Obviously speaking with Jack, the Chairman, and having a few conversations back and forward, I truly believe I can have an impact on growing and expanding the New Earswick All Blacks. Community clubs are the heartbeat of the local area and with Rugby League we can truly make a difference to the surrounding area. I cant wait to meet everyone and if you see me around please come and introduce yourself and say hello. I am really excited to become part of this journey that the club is taking.”
