New Earswick All Blacks Junior Jack Pallister is the latest player to join a professional club gaining a scholarship with Super League side Castleford Tigers.

Jack follows in the footsteps of over 75 players before him, Jack, 15, who plays up an age group in the Under 16’s has been with the All Blacks since the age of 6, joins the Castleford Tigers scholarship program after a successful trial period and made his debut on Wednesday night against Warrington.

Jack said on his time at the All Blacks “I’ve enjoyed my time at New Earswick since joining at the age of 6, and I’ve made loads of new mates from playing rugby. It’s a great club with great people and excellent volunteers. I would like to thank all the volunteers over the years who’ve helped me and my team out. I especially want to thank my dad and all the other coaches, who’ve helped develop me into the player I am today”

Jack added “If you are looking to get into rugby league then I would highly recommend getting down to the New Earswick All Blacks. No matter what age you are or your experience, it’s never too late to get involved, the coaches and volunteers all make you feel welcome and help you develop, not only as a player but as a person too!”

Jack’s coach and proud Dad, Carl said “It’s hard coaching your own son, but we’ve managed to keep things good between us. Jack had a natural talent for rugby but has also worked very hard to get to where he is today. We are really proud of Jack getting on at Castleford Tigers Scholarship, but he knows there is still a lot of hard work still to go.”

Everyone at New Earswick All Blacks wishes Jack all the best.
